 The WES system is hosted in Kenco’s data center in Tennessee, connecting to the users via frame relay data line or secure Internet VPN connections. The WES system is a thin client system, and response times are very acceptable when WES is deployed via WAN connectivity. We strongly recommend that backup data lines be installed to provide connectivity in the event the primary data circuits experience a service interruption. We do have installations of this type in operation, and system performance is excellent.
We can discuss locating WES processors at the warehouse locations for large operations where the economics of a dedicated processor make sense.
