 Kenco is proud to announce the “World’s Safest Warehouse” has operated for 29 years without a single lost-time injury.
The 650,000 square-foot facility, located in Chattanooga, TN on Amnicola Highway, began its record-setting safety streak in May 1977. The distribution center stores nylon fibers for a major producer and marketer of premium fibers, polymers and resins.
“This is such a tremendous achievement, but it would not have been possible without our employee’s constant commitment to safety,” said Fred Byington, General Manager for the facility. “The most important aspect of this anniversary is that it means our employees were able to work in a safe environment and go home to their families everyday.”
