Burris Promoted to IT Network Operations Manager

Kenco, the nation’s largest family-owned third party logistics provider, proudly announces the promotion of Jim Burris to IT Network Operations Manager.  Jim has been with Kenco since 2001 and has served in various IT roles from help desk support to network engineer.  Jim has proven his leadership skills in supporting over 1,100 systems users. 

In his new role, Jim will manage the daily performance, availability, security, intrusion prevention and protection, and documentation of Kenco's wide area network. He and his staff will manage the day-to-day operations of Kenco’s network that reaches across 86 of its sites.

Mr. Burris is a Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator and Engineer: Security, a Cisco Certified Network Associate, an A+ Certified Technician, and Certified Architect in ISS technology. 

Jim lives in Soddy Daisy, TN with his wife, Kim, and their daughter, Zoe.
