Keurig Premium Coffee Systems Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Green Mountain Coffee Roasters, Inc. and one of the industry’s leading single-cup coffee brewing system in the U.S., has selected Chattanooga-based Kenco Logistic Services for the fulfillment of their direct-to-consumer e-commerce business.
First introduced in 1998, Keurig’s innovative, patented technology lets consumers brew one cup of coffee at a time, in less than a minute, making it the most popular single-cup brewing system in the workplace in North America. Now Keurig has tapped into the residential consumer market, offering retail and direct-to-consumer sales of home brewing systems and a complete line of gourmet coffees and teas packaged in K-Cups, Keurig’s patented proprietary system.
“We selected Kenco because they offer a broader line of services needed to fuel our aggressive growth over the next few years,” said John Whoriskey, Vice President and General Manager of Keurig’s At Home Division. As a full-scale logistics provider, Kenco will be handling all order fulfillment, shipping, receiving, inventory management and other value-added logistics services for Keurig’s rapidly expanding direct-to-consumer e-commerce business.
Headquartered in Chattanooga, Kenco Logistic Services is one of the nation’s leading full-service providers of logistics management, warehousing, distribution, and transportation solutions. For more information, please visit the following website www.keurig.com.
