Kenco Logistic Services was recognized as one of the Top 100 3PL providers by Inbound Logistics (IL) magazine and will be featured in the July issue.
Selecting the annual Top 100 3PL providers is no small task, given the pace of change and the number of new entrants in the global outsourcing market. IL editors whittled this year's list from more than 400 companies through a comprehensive process of evaluating questionnaires, conducting research, and soliciting reader feedback. The goal is to provide a balanced and accurate assessment of readers' needs and the 3PLs that editors believe are best suited to meet those specific requirements.
“How a logistics partner enables growth and/or innovation for its customers is one key criteria IL editors look for when choosing a Top 100 3PL,” said Felecia Stratton, Editor, Inbound Logistics. “It is easier for a 3PL to benchmark direct savings for customers as a result of optimizing a transport network, or reducing an inventory-to-sales ratio. But it is just as important, in some cases more important, for a logistics partner to act as a business change agent, driving their customers' ability to grow, innovate, and compete. That is what Kenco does, and why we are happy to recognize it as a 2007 Top 100 3PL.”
