 JDK Real Estate, LLC, and member of the Kenco Family of Companies, is proud to announce the purchase of a 202,000 sq. ft. warehouse and manufacturing facility in The Salt Lake International Center adjacent to the
Salt
Lake
International
Airport.
According to Jimmy Glascock, Vice President JDK Real Estate, “The facility was purchased from Obrist America, Inc. a subsidiary of Paris-based Closure Systems. Obrist is a leading manufacturer of plastic bottle cap systems for most of the major soft drinks companies throughout the world and will continue to occupy the facility under a multi-year lease.
JDK will retain the adjacent land for future development of up to 200,000 sq. ft. of distribution space. The entire complex is rail served and within 3 miles of the Salt Lake City Intermodal Yard with direct rail service to
Pacific Ocean ports.
