Fort Worth,
Texas. Kenco is anticipating hiring a high percentage of the 170 employees at the facility, previously managed by another provider.
According to Greg Boring, Vice President of Operations, Kenco Logistic Services, “As we assume the management of this facility, we fully expect to employ most of the current 170 full-time employees. Their skill, dedication and understanding of Whirlpool’s operational needs will allow a seamless transition from the previous management company to Kenco Logistic Services.”
Kenco has been a provider to Whirlpool since 1979; with this facility, Kenco manages almost 6 million square feet of warehouse space for the appliance manufacturer. The
Fort Worth facility will receive and ship Whirlpool products, and perform other value-added services as required.
