Kenco Logistic Services, LLC, one of the most well-respected names in the third-party logistics industry, announces the following executive promotions, effective January 1, 2009.
According to Andy Smith, Kenco Logistic Services President and Chief Operating Officer, “We are delighted to recognize the achievements of the following members of the Kenco family. They represent the most important operating elements of the company; their leadership, dedication and ability to make significant, positive contributions are most appreciated.”
Paula Hise is Vice President of Operations. She will continue to serve as the leader of the GSK Consumer Healthcare network, participate in special assignments and serve as an operational lead on new business development. Over the past 18 years in logistics she has been successful in leading negotiation training, developing internal audit processes, and identifying and streamlining corporate cost. Ms. Hise provides Director-level experience in call center operations and customer relationship management, working with several Fortune 500 companies in the direct-to-consumer warehousing and distribution industry.
John Lamb is Vice President of Operations. He will continue to lead the Whirlpool LDC network, overseeing the LDC entitlement project and driving improved financial understanding and performance in the network. Mr. Lamb joined Kenco Logistic Services from Wal-Mart Distribution, involved with multiple successful
Distribution
Center startups over a 6-year period. Earlier, he was in Engineering and Business Development for one of the largest gift-wrap printers in the country, CPS Corporation. Mr. Lamb served in the U.S. Air Force, including a tour in the
Middle East during Operation Desert Storm.
Greg Boring is Vice President of Operations, including management of the Whirlpool RDC & FDC network and the Honeywell Louisville site. Mr. Boring joined Kenco Logistics Services in 2005 as Director of Supply Chain Solutions and became Director of Operations in 2007. He is responsible for operations of five

Distribution
Centers and two
Factory
Distribution
Centers for Whirlpool Corporation. He started his career at Yellow Freight System in the Industrial Engineering Department. He then held the position of Customer Service and Routing Manager at Georgia-Pacific’s largest building products distribution center near
Atlanta. Just prior to coming to Kenco, he spent over 6 years working for UPS Supply Chain Solutions in various roles associated with Solutions Development, Program Management, and Pricing.
